Discussion groups
These are rules and policies for discussion groups among owners. These rules and policies are open to revision.
Rules
Be kind and respectful.
Tell the truth.
Stay on topic: matters of shared interest to Tollgate owners.
No commercial promotion, solicitation, or reviews.
Discuss the issues, not the person.
Post to inform, inquire, or discuss. No trolling.
Respect privacy: don't post another person's contact details or personal information without their consent.
Don't reveal confidential information.
No statements that are reasonably likely to cause harm or risk liability to individual persons or to the Association.
Policies
Membership is limited to owners.
Posting privileges are not guaranteed. A rule violation can result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of posting privileges.
Even without posting privileges, the groups remain available to read as long as members continue to be respectful to admins and moderators and do not re-share content in a way that violates the rules.
Moderators may remove posts from the web archive at their discretion. Posts already delivered by email cannot be recalled.
Nobody, including the Board and the management company, has any stated obligation to monitor a group or respond to posts.
Nothing in these rules or policies restricts any disclosure required by law.
Disclaimer
Posts are the views of their authors, not of the Association. Every member can see all posts, and although moderators can enforce the rules within the groups, they cannot prevent or be responsible for what members do with messages outside the groups.
